Stellenbeschreibung

We are looking for a Working Student in Legal Tech to join our team.
Vacancy closes on 28 October 2025.

The Opportunity
Are you interested in working at the intersection of law and digitalization while helping to implement innovative digital solutions in a legal team? Then this role is for you!

Assurance Services International (ASI) is looking for a motivated and curious Working Student (Legal Tech) to join our Business Unit team. Your role will require close collaboration across all ASI units and the entire global team.

You will gain hands-on experience optimizing our end-to-end digital contract workflow, from automated document generation with DocuSign to managing contracts as data within Salesforce. Your work will directly contribute to making our legal operations more efficient and data-driven.
If you are a proactive, tech-savvy problem-solver with a passion for digital transformation in corporate functions, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Process automation & digitalization
    • Drive the automation of our business document workflows. After an initial training period, independently manage the migration and implementation of templates using Salesforce-integrated tools (DocuSign Gen, Conga Composer).
    • Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to understand their operational needs, gather requirements, and implement effective, user-friendly automation solutions.
    • Design, build, and improve automated legal operations workflows using tools like DocuSign IAM, helping to increase efficiency and scalability of the global team.
    • Support the creation and updating of guidelines, process maps, and digital best practices to strengthen legal operations within ASI.

  2. Contract & Document Lifecycle Management
    • Take ownership of the end-to-end digital contract workflow, from generating documents in Salesforce to coordinating e-signatures with DocuSign.
    • Oversee the contract data lifecycle in Salesforce, ensuring that all contract data is accurately logged,  maintained and monitored throughout its lifecycle.
    • Act as the first point of contact for the ASI team, providing support with locating contracts and sharing updates on their status.

  3. Operational & administrative support
    • Provide daily operational support to the Legal Counsel and other business units, including document filing and mailbox maintenance.
    • Contribute to other operational projects and cross-team initiatives as they arise, in collaboration with the Legal Counsel.

Anforderungen

What You Bring

  • Currently enrolled in a university program in Germany, for instance in law, IT, business, or a related field. Your specific area of study is less important than your demonstrated interest in the digital transformation of business and legal operations.
  • Proven interest in and affinity for LegalTech, IT, and the automation of legal/operational processes.
  • A proactive, collaborative, and problem-solving mindset with enthusiasm for working with different teams to build solutions that make work easier.
  • Strong attention to detail and critical thinking skills.
  • A willingness to learn and interest in in-house legal work.
  • Good research, writing and oral communication skills.
  • Good command of MS Office and/or Google Workspace. Experience with Salesforce and/or DocuSign is an advantage.
  • Proven fluency in written and spoken English and German.
