Stellenbeschreibung

The Bonn Graduate School of Economics (BGSE) is an institution of the Department of Economics of the University of Bonn.



Starting in July 2026 we are looking for a motivated Student Assistant for IT Administration (m/w/d) for 8-10 hours/week 



Your Responsibilities:


  • Website maintenance for the BGSE
  • Administration of the IT systems at the BGSE including, but not exclusive to setting up computers, updating software, support with general PC and printer problems
  • Management of local user access accounts
  • Working independently on inquiries of students who need support via email, phone or in person

Anforderungen

Requirements: 

  • Enrolled at the University of Bonn or at another German university
  • Very good knowledge of English and basic knowledge of German
  • Computer affinity and proficiency in dealing with software
  • Very good knowledge of Microsoft Windows and MS Office
  • Initial experiences in administrating networks and working with Plone (preferable, but not mandatory)
  • Good team worker with an eye for details
  • Independent and responsible completion of assigned tasks
